When Ethel was four she fell on her hip
She broke it really bed and since got a limp
With the rest of her class
She just could not dance
So they called her Ethel the gimp.
In high school and college she was always gloom
With no one to love she stuck to her room
"I am such a freak, & my life is so bad
With no one to love, I wish I was dead"
"If you known all the pain you're inflicting on me
You'd send me some help, or just set me free"
She could not just stand there and wait for her fate
So instead she have stormed out and started to date.
The men she could date were low life at best
She still got a limp and was getting really stressed
Depression have made her act even worse
So she took out some poison to put in her purse.
But a gypsy she know have given her hope
A man that would love her and just help her cope
With the limp and the stress and life which is hard
So say the all the stars her hand and the cards
"You make me so happy, so never we part
I'll give you my soul, and I'll give you my heart!"
She felt so relived and she just could not wait
But one time her lover was terribly late.
She know he have found his own perfect girl
The poison is winking and shines like a pearl
When finally he got there she was already dead
In his right hand a box with a ring that he maid…
Now Ethel is free from the pain and defeat
If only it took him less time to complete
A ring of his love from her legs just to sweep
To mend his dear Ethel the gimp
